Senior Frontend Developer

 

Tradeblock is the #1 Sneaker Trading Platform and Community. We are looking for a senior frontend developer to expand our in-house development team to continue improving our customer’s experience. This is your chance to get in on the ground floor at a startup with massive growth potential.

 

The ideal candidate should have a strong background developing and maintaining consumer facing mobile applications capable of scaling to millions of users.

Responsibilities

• Continue to develop our consumer facing mobile application built with React Native

• Maintain and troubleshoot customer reported issues with the application

• Optimize mobile application performance

• Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes as we grow our team

 

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience developing mobile applications with React Native

• Work experience or familiarity with the following technologies: Javascript, Typescript, React/React Native, RESTful APIs, GraphQL

• Experienced in architectural patterns and best practices for high-scale applications

• Experience integrating with external APIs

• Work closely with backend engineers to optimize query performance

• Experience working with Agile methodologies

• Experience or desire working in a small team, fast-paced startup atmosphere

 

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar major

• Experience writing native iOS and/or Android mobile applications

• Experience with Firebase for notifications

• Experience with UI/UX design

• Passion for sneakers or a sneakerhead​
