Junior Frontend Developer

 

Tradeblock is the #1 Sneaker Trading Platform and Community. We are looking for a junior frontend developer to expand our in-house development team to continue improving our customer’s experience. This is your chance to get in on the ground floor at a startup with massive growth potential.

 

The ideal candidate should be familiar with writing frontend mobile applications and have a strong desire to learn and grow their skills.

Responsibilities

  • Continue to develop our consumer facing mobile application built with React Native

  • Maintain and troubleshoot customer reported issues with the application

 

Qualifications

  • Any experience developing mobile applications with React Native

  • Work experience or familiarity with the following technologies: Javascript, Typescript, React/React Native, RESTful APIs, GraphQL

  • Experience or familiarity working with Agile methodologies

  • Experience or desire working in a small team, fast-paced startup atmosphere

 

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar major

  • Experience writing native iOS and/or Andriod mobile applications

  • Experience with Firebase for notifications

  • Experience with UI/UX design

  • Passion for sneakers or a sneakerhead
